Paul Mitchell The School East Bay, 100 Crescent Drive, Suite D, Pleasant Hill, CA 94523, is a private institution that is approved to operate by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education. Approval to operate means the institution is compliant with the minimum standards contained in the California Private Postsecondary Education Act of 2009 (as amended) and Division 7.5 of Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations. Instruction is in residence with facility occupancy level accommodating 238 students at any one time.

California statute requires that a student who successfully completes a course of study be awarded an appropriate diploma or certificate verifying the fact.

This school is currently approved to participate in approved sponsored programs, government or otherwise, to provide grants and/or loans to pay for portions of tuition and fees.

The Board of Barbering and Cosmetology (BBC) sets minimum standards for these programs of study: The minimum number of class hours and the total clock hours for each course, as outlined in the program’s Rules and Regulations booklet, must be met to qualify the student for licensure.
